As Head of Data & AI, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping how Workspace Group uses data and artificial intelligence to drive smarter decisions, improve customer experience and optimise the performance of our portfolio.

Reporting to the Head of Technology, you will define and deliver Workspace’s Data & AI strategy, leading teams across data engineering, analytics, reporting, data science and AI delivery. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across commercial, property, operations, finance, marketing and ESG to turn business priorities into actionable insight and high‑impact AI solutions.

You will be responsible for building and governing our enterprise data platform, embedding strong data governance and quality standards, and ensuring compliance with data protection and responsible AI principles. You will champion data literacy across the organisation and lead the delivery of predictive analytics and AI use cases such as pricing optimisation, utilisation forecasting, customer behaviour modelling and AI‑enabled customer support.

This is a senior, high‑impact role with real influence over Workspace’s digital transformation and long‑term growth.

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience leading and scaling a Data and/or AI function within a multi‑site or operational environment
  • Demonstrable success delivering machine learning or AI solutions into live production with clear commercial outcomes
  • Strong experience designing and operating modern cloud data architectures, ideally on Microsoft Azure (e.g. Synapse)
  • Experience establishing data governance, data quality frameworks and enterprise data models
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, commercially focused insights for senior leaders and boards
  • Strong stakeholder‑management skills, with the confidence to influence at executive level
  • Experience managing budgets, suppliers and external partners
  • A commercially minded, outcome‑focused approach with strong prioritisation skills
  • A collaborative, proactive leadership style and comfort working in a fast‑moving, scaling organisation
  • A clear commitment to ethical, responsible and transparent AI

Desirable:

  • Experience in commercial real estate, flexible workspace, property management or subscription‑based services
  • Familiarity with building systems, the internet of things, access control or building analytics
  • Knowledge of ESG data standards and reporting requirements

This role requires to be in the office 4 days a week.
