The Vacancy

Reporting to the Head of Project Management and Building Surveying, we’re looking for a Building Surveyor to provide advice on building and construction matters for the Workspace portfolio. You will identify and provide solutions for building problems and implement long-term repair work. You’ll undertake internal refurbishments including office refurbishments, meeting rooms, front of house, and internal fabric projects.

You’ll have the opportunity to assist in property acquisitions, visit sites and comment on pre-acquisition and vendor reports. You will oversee dilapidation claims and manage the externally appointed consultants.

You will need:  

  • Building Surveying or equivalent recognised experience in RICS
  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience
  • Experience of working with commercial and industrial properties
  • The ability to engage and build relations with new and existing companies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This role requires you to be in the office 4 days per week.
